The Los Angeles auto show, which will start Nov. 20 with two press days, will feature a connected car exhibition and conference. The annual show is open for regular visitors Nov. 22 through December 1.
The Connected Car Expo, which will run November 19, 20 and 21, will consist of a one-day conference and a three-day exhibition focusing on the companies and trends that are shaping the era of automotive connectivity. The event is hosted by the organizers of the LA Auto Show.
The 2013 auto show, which will have more than 50 new car debuts, takes place against a backdrop of resurgent US demand for new cars. Most automakers expect car buyers to focus on models that have new connectivity functions either embedded or as an option.
